Wilberto Ortiz (November 30, 1985 in Brooklyn, New York ) is a Minor League Baseball infielder. From Dowling College, he was selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 33rd Round (1002nd overall) of the 2006 amateur entry draft. In four seasons with the Angels organization, he advanced as high as Class AA with the Arkansas Travelers in the Texas League. In April 2010 he was released by the Angels and signed by the Nationals, who assigned him to their Class A-Advanced affiliate, the Potomac Nationals.[1][2] He signed a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers for 2011 and played in 11 games for AAA Albuquerque Isotopes, 68 for AA Chattanooga and 30 for A+ Rancho Cucamonga, hitting a combined .250.
